The Levi's® Vintage Clothing 1955 501® Jean represents classic 1950's biker style. This jean had an "anti-fit" in the seat, slightly fuller cut around the leg, and boxier silhouette. It was also the first to bear our leather-like, paper Two-Horse Pull patch. Additionally, the updated red Tab is double-sided — another example of our meticulous attention to detail. This version of the 501® still retains some classic features of its 1947 predecessor: belt loops as the only method of waist adjustment, hidden copper rivets on the back pockets, and a zinc button fly. It is made with selvedge denim from Cone Mills of North Carolina, a Levi's® brand partner for over 100 years.
